Most people probably don't think about it, but we actually use in abundance of figurative language in everyday life. One of my favorite forms of figurative language is alliteration. Alliteration is the type of figurative language where the first sound and/or letter of each word is the same. When you encounter alliteration you may consider it as a tongue twister. One of the most famous uses of alliteration is " How much wood did the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?"
